COVID-19 Relief Project

The coronavirus pandemic and its subsequent closure have affected us in many ways, but it has worst affected the poor and the neglected communities of the society. It has led to economic hardship, which has resulted in the loss of livelihoods for daily wage workers and migrant workers. After the announcement of the 21-day lockdown, Happy people happy nation started to provide food support to families of daily wage earners across cities, which might have lost out on employment in this time of crisis. Our volunteers aim to prepare kits with necessaries such as dry rations and personal care products, and transport them to over thousands of people in areas with huge pockets of migrant labor. We focused largely upon South India and distributed meals in several cities there.
